Located on
Interstate 10 East in Houston, just
east of Beltway 8, the Safety Advantage Training Center is convenient
to
all of South Texas. It is another resource available to
Clients, their Supervisors and Employees.
Workshops are available for in-house
Safety Coordinators, designated Competent Persons, Trainers and
Employee groups that need special individual certifications.
Safety
Advantage is an authorized training and assessment center for the
National
Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
We are also an approved data provider to ISNetworld,
the national online database for safety training and operator
qualification.
 Classes
cover a range of OSHA compliance topics -- electrical and fire safety,
hazard communication (chemical safety), personal protective equipment,
excavation and confined space safety, fall protection and more.
Special workshops are held to help
in-house Safety Coordinators and Supervisors develop skills for
effective safety management and Employee support. These include:
Accident Investigation for Supervisors, OSHA Compliance for
Supervisors, How to Respond to an OSHA Intervention,
Behavior-Based Safety training and a variety of Train-the-Trainer
classes and programs. |
